VERSATILE REMOTE HEAD
The Proaim Jr. Pan-Tilt Head with Joystick Control remotely controls your Camera when it's mounted on a tripod, jib or crane.
The Jr. Pan-Tilt Runs conveniently on 12 VDC from either a battery pack or the included AC power supply.
No jib is complete without a motorized pan/tilt head, and the Jr. Pan tilt’s robust yet light construction, the universal mounting base and intuitive control box makes it a breeze to set up and operate on virtually any jib.
The universal camera plate is adjustable for different sized setups and can support film and video cameras weighing up to 5kg / 11lb.
The precisely designed Head gives you incredible freedom of movement and gets you cinematic footage virtually anywhere.

HIGH PERFORMANCE WITH ADVANCED FEATURES
Professionally designed 2-Axis Jr. Pan-Tilt Head ensures a perfect camera balance and offers smooth camerawork at all times.
It can be mounted vertically or underslung. The Head will pan and tilt through 360°, and this enables the camera to point directly upwards or downwards when required.
The head has variable pan and tilt speeds, with a minimum speed of 6° per second for slow and smooth pans and tilts. For faster, yet smooth pan and tilts, the head has a maximum pan/tilt speed of 51° per second.
Two high-quality coreless motors and backlash-free gears work precisely, quietly and dynamically. The motor drive can be easily disengaged to balance the Camera on the camera plate.
The high strength brass gears are engineered to withstand long hours of functions and have minimal wear and tear.

EASY OPERATION

Damping Control :- Damping control knob prevent the Head from stopping abruptly with a jerk, giving you smooth endings. The amount of damping is increased by rotating the damping knob clockwise.
Dead Spot Control :- The Dead spot control determines the centre band of the joystick where no motion will occur and ensure no crossover to the other axis when not wanted. you can adjust your joystick when it is not centre by rotating this knob clockwise. If you observe the head moving without deflecting the joystick, it will be necessary to adjust centring. and to perform best in reversing the head then dead spot knob should be 30 to 40 percent.
Pan/Tilt Direction :- You can reverse the panning & tilting direction as & when required by using switch and you can also take damping function at the time of reversal. So best way to reverse the pan tilt head is by using this Reversal switch.

Wonderful jib head

This has been a great purchase. The motorized head has great mobility for cinamatic, though I would love to know the dimensions of the screws included to attach the head to the jib so we can replace them if they get lost. Specifically the smaller screws that are use with the wave 2 pro

Great Value

After going through 3 heads in 14 years I decided to this one. This is the best one so far. There is very little backlash and the taper is nice. Ironically this was the least expensive head i've bought. It holds an Ursa 4.6 with batts, lens,mics,wireless focus with no wobble from the head.

Proaim Professional Motorized Jr. Pan Tile Head

So far, I am liking it quite a bit. I have a Kessler Crane 12 that I was previously using a simple motorized head with less than stellar results, but was able to get the job done when not much was needed. I recently did a shoot that required a more complete and wider range. So I purchased the Jr. and used a Sony Z-90, Sennheiser G3 system with the talent wearing the lapel mic. The controller is large (with mounting options) and has a good-sized joystick. The head comes with ac power connections which allow you to use it plugged into an outlet. Very solidly mounts to the headplate of the Kessler Crane.
